The child is removed from the parent's / caregiver'scustody by a court order.
Temporary protective custody of a child takenwithout the consent of the person(s) responsible for the child's welfare, if they have reasonable grounds to believe that:
- The child is suffering from illness or injury;
- That the child is in immediate danger from the surroundings;
- That the child's removal is necessary;
- That the child has run away from parent, or other custodian; or
- By order of juvenile supervisor (ie, if the child is in imminent danger, deprived, deliquent, unruly, as found in NDCC 27-02-06.
